A whole new light
My eyes apparently produce a lot of protein, or something like that, which means that after six months or so, my contacts get cloudy and need to be replaced. Lazy, lazy person that I am, I often put this off, even though it means I spend weeks rubbing my eyes because the build-up can get irritating.
So today, I finally opened up the drawer and pulled the new contacts out of the package (and really, that's all it took. I am actually that lazy).
Good part -- ooh, my eyes don't itch! And I can see so clearly now!
Bad part -- god, I look like crap! My face looked much younger when I was viewing it in protein-created soft focus.
