Meta giggles

So Blogging Baby has a post about things the parenting books won't tell you. Humorous Mommy stuff, with things like "You will buy groceries in your pajamas," and "You will pay $50 to take the kids out to a movie and they'll fall asleep in the first five minutes and you'll be thankful." Included in the list is "You will have conversations with other adults about the relative merits of Steve and Joe."

What I love? That the comments thread immediately devolves into a debate on Steve vs. Joe. (Steve all the way -- stick with a classic.)

Disturbing

Thanks to Little Ballerina, I've now watched the Disney Channel original movie "High School Musical" at least half a dozen times, including the karaoke version, which also includes dance lessons. And have bought the CD.

The songs are so damn catchy.
