Shoes

This is soooooooo Jappy, but honestly? A nice pair of shoes can really make my day.

The box arrived from Zappos yesterday: Gold peau de soie d'orsay pumps with a jeweled vamp and a 2-inch french heel. Stuart Weitzman. They fit perfectly, they were on sale ($378 marked down to $78! How could I not buy them?) and they're possibly the most beautiful things I have ever owned.

They're probably too dressy for the dress I'm wearing to my cousin's son's Bar Mitzvah, but I don't care. I feel like Rita Hayworth in these things.

And today I'm wearing black suede Franco Sarto loafers with a brown leather kiltie and a three-inch wedge heel. I feel tall, and grown-up, and happy. So fine, I'm a Jap. But my feet look fabulous.
